The SEACEN Centre is located at Lorong Universiti A, 59100, Kuala Lumpur (off Jalan Universiti, Petaling Jaya). It is about 11 kilometres west of Kuala Lumpur city (please see the roadmap). The Centre’s Building The Centre’s building stands on a small hill, near National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) and the campus of University of Malaya. It is easily identified by its red-brick columnal structure with the name and logo of The SEACEN Centre appearing at the top of the building.

Getting to the Centre

By taxi from Kuala Lumpur city: City taxis are metered and they are easily recognised by their red and white or yellow and black colours. The taxi fares from Kuala Lumpur city to The SEACEN Centre is about RM14.00, during normal hours. The rates will be RM4.00 for the first 2 kilometres and additional RM0.20 (or 20 sen) for every other 200 metres and there is no extra charge for air-conditioned taxis. A 50 per cent surcharge on the fare from midnight to 6 a.m. is normal.

By taxi from KLIA: The taxis are fixed price and prepaid taxi voucher is to be purchased at the "Airport Taxi" counters, situated immediately after the customs checkpoint and before the exit. Beware that there are several "grades" of taxi, the "premium" and "budget". A taxi ride to The SEACEN Centre will be about RM95.00 with premium grade taxi and RM70.00 on a budget taxi. After hours – be aware that there is an extra 50 per cent surcharge for taking an airport taxi after midnight.

Facilities

The SEACEN Centre is connected to the Bank Negara Malaysia Human Capacity Development Centre’s (HCDC) premises by two corridors. The Centre also shares some of the common facilities with the HCDC, such as dining hall, recreational and the residential facilities.

The Centre also utilises the facilities of Lanai Kijang, a residential and multipurpose complex belonging to Bank Negara Malaysia, for its learning events and meetings. The Lanai Kijang is located at 2, Jalan Berjasa, 50480 Kuala Lumpur.
