This annual meeting aims to provide a forum for Directors of Payment and Settlement Systems Departments of central banks/monetary authorities in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange views and experiences on payment and settlement system policies, strategies, and risks related to payment and settlement systems and to discuss training needs and future training programmes in the areas of payment and settlement systems.

The 9th Meeting will be conducted back-to-back with the 9th SEACEN-CPSS Advanced Course on Payment and Settlement Systems. The Meeting will be preceded by a Seminar on topic to be identified in consultation with PSS Directors. Resource speakers for the Seminar will be invited from the CPSS or regional experts in the field.
