Professor Frank Schorfheide from the University of Pennsylvania is one of the world’s most accomplished researchers in econometrics and empirical macroeconomics. He has been at the forefront of providing a set of tools that is useful for empirical work with modern macroeconomic models, including forecasting and policy analysis. He has applied these methods to analyse the sources of business cycle fluctuations and to study the effects of monetary policy. Frank will be in conversation with Ole Rummel and Özer Karagedikli. In addition, The SEACEN Centre is actively soliciting questions for Frank from member central banks.
