THE NATIONAL BANK OF CAMBODIA HOSTS 45TH SEACEN GOVERNORS’ CONFERENCE AND 29TH MEETING OF SEACEN BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOG)
The 45th SEACEN Governors’ Conference and the 29th Meeting of SEACEN Board of Governors (BOG) were successfully hosted by the National Bank of Cambodia and held in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on 27 -28 February 2010. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of Cambodia, H.E. Keat Chhon, officiated the Opening Ceremony. Participating in the Conference were Governors and representatives of 15 SEACEN central banks and an observer central bank, and the discussion focused on “The Role of Central Banks in Sustaining Economic Recovery and in Achieving Financial Stability”. At the 29th Meeting of the SEACEN BOG, Governors ratified the Centre’s programme of activities and budget for OY 2010/11 as well as reviewed the strategic role of The SEACEN Centre in building central banking capabilities.
