The SEACEN Centre is pleased to invite our Central Bank colleagues for a live presentation and discussion of the ASEAN+3 Financial Stability Report 2025 on Wednesday, October 22, at 13:30 – 15:00 MYT.
The Report assesses near- to long-term risks and challenges to financial stability and provides policy recommendations to address conjunctural and structural issues in the economies of the 10 members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), as well as China; Hong Kong, China; Japan; and Korea (ASEAN+3).
The 2025 edition will be released on October 9, 2025.
The AFSR 2025 examines evolving financial stability risks to ASEAN+3 from (1) heightened external volatility due to US policy uncertainty, fiscal imbalances, and geopolitical tensions; (2) global monetary policy shocks; and (3) the digitalization of banking services.
As part of the AFSR outreach, the webinar will provide a platform for central bank policy makers and think tanks to discuss the report’s findings, regional financial challenges, and key policy priorities to ensure financial stability in ASEAN+3.
