New Publication Update

Aziz Durrani, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, and Masyitah Rosmin, Research Associate at the SEACEN Centre have co-authored a paper with Dr. Ulrich Volz on the role of central banks in scaling up sustainable finance in the Asia-Pacific region. The paper has been published in the Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment. It highlights the findings from the SEACEN Centre’s member survey on the topic, as well as actions central banks are taking in Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Singapore and Viet Nam. It also considers some of the additional policy measures on encouraging the move to a low carbon economy that Central Banks and Regulators may want to think about in 2020.
