Position for SEACEN Executive Director

The SEACEN Centre (SEACEN) seeks an outstanding and experienced leader as its Executive Director for a three-year fixed term (1 July 2015 to 30 June 2018.

Housed in an ultra-modern facility in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, SEACEN represents a learning and research collaboration among 19 member central banks and monetary authorities (member central banks) from the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1982, SEACEN has provided learning and research opportunities to generations of central bankers. Many of the region’s top central bankers have attended SEACEN learning programs at some point in their careers. SEACEN has forged strong working relationships among the regional central banks, particularly by facilitating forums on issues important to its member central banks. SEACEN is currently focusing on strengthening its internal faculty of experts in central banking in order to elevate the Centre’s position as the leading learning hub in the region for learning and research in core central banking functions, and to provide thought leadership and regional views on emerging issues affecting its member central banks. The focus of the learning and research programs is in the areas of Macroeconomic and Monetary Policy Management; Financial Stability and Supervision; Payment and Settlement Systems; and Leadership and Central Bank Governance.
